• My car didn't start after I drove it through standing water. What is wrong?

  When water enters the intake manifold while driving through standing water or during intense downpours that cause significant flooding, hydrostatic lock results which can potentially harm the engine by bending the pistons. You need to immediately seek expert assistance.

• I see too many exhaust fumes coming out of my car while driving. Is it an engine problem?

  Modern automobiles are designed for cleaner emissions, so if you see that your vehicle is emitting coloured smoke trails from the exhaust, this may indicate an engine issue. While blue smoke indicates the combustion of oil, black smoke indicates the burning of too much fuel.   Engine knocking occurs when a spark plug is not used to ignite small pockets of the air-fuel mixture. It can be distinguished by a persistent knocking noise coming from the engine. It can lead to significant damage and expensive repairs if left unchecked.

• My car often stalls when I’m idling at traffic lights. Why is this happening?

  If your engine stalls while idling, you're on the verge of an engine failure. Usually, stalling at idle indicates a gasoline delivery problem. If this starts to occur frequently, you should get your engine checked.

• Is it normal to see oil patches on the ground when I take out my car?

  If you park your car and observe oil spots on the ground, it could be due to a leaking gasket or oil pan. Since there won't be enough oil, friction will be created during combustion, damaging components and this can and will damage the engine.

• My car jerks and vibrates along with weird noises when I drive. What should I do?

  A defective spark plug is the most common cause of engine vibration. Because of the faulty spark plug, the engine will misfire, resulting in vibrations and noise. The noise described here is the knocking sound, which we have mentioned above.
